Wholesale hardware buying guide
Buying hardware wholesale is straightforward once you know three numbers: MOQ, tier price and landed cost.
MOQ (minimum order quantity) is usually 100 pieces for standard fasteners. Tier prices drop at set volumes — commonly at 100, 500 and 1000 pieces — and the savings compound across a mixed cart. Landed cost adds freight, duties and handling to the invoice price; a cheap FOB quote with expensive air freight can lose to a higher unit price shipped by sea.
Always request samples before the first bulk order, and confirm the material certificate (MTC) matches the grade you paid for.
